What we collect through this website, why, who handles it, how long we keep it, and how to ask us to delete it.

What we collect

What you type into our forms. When you ask for a new site or a free website check, we get what you enter: your name and email, and, if you add them, your phone number, your business details, your website address and any notes.

How the site is used. Google Analytics tells us which pages are visited, roughly where visitors are, what device and browser they use, and how they found us. It never gets what you type into a form, and the page addresses it sees leave out everything but campaign tags like utm_source.

Our host's logs. Vercel, which hosts this site, keeps request logs (such as IP address, browser and the pages asked for) to run the site and keep it secure.

The preview on our home page runs in your browser and sends nothing to us. A business name you type there stays in that browser tab, so our form can fill it in for you, and it's gone when you close the tab.

Why we use it

  • To answer you: reply, run your free website check, or quote your project.
  • To see which pages help people, so we can make the site better.
  • To keep the site secure, for example by limiting repeated form sends.
  • We don't sell your information.

Who handles it for us

  • Vercel hosts the site, keeps its request logs, and runs the firewall that limits repeated sends.
  • Resend delivers what you send through our forms to our inbox.
  • Google Workspace is our email inbox, where those messages are kept.
  • Google Analytics measures how the site is used.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies (their names start with _ga) to tell one visit from another. Google signals is turned off, so Analytics doesn't link your visits across your devices.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser's settings, or use Google's opt-out add-on.

How long we keep it

  • Form messages: we keep them in our inbox while they're useful for working together, and delete them when you ask. There's no fixed period.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics keeps data about individual visits and visitors for 2 months; after that, only overall totals remain in its reports.
  • Host logs: Vercel keeps them for 30 days (Vercel's log retention).
